You couldn't make it up!

Following my post about Oborne, that icon of political journalism, praising William Hague and stating that he had regained control of foreign policy we read in the same newspaper, on the same day, that the EU are about to use another 'sleight-of-hand' (misuse of a clause in the Lisbon Treaty, namely 'structured co-operation') to initiate the introduction of a EU military headquarters.

Bruno Waterfield's article points out that using 'structured co-operation' would mean the decision then becomes one that would be taken by majority voting and would thus negate William Hague's threatened veto - so much for Hague regaining control of foreign policy. On the Daily Telegraph website, although I am unable to find it in my print edition, comes a 'whining' piece by Geoffrey Van Orden (Conservative MEP) who writes that since 1998 he has led opposition to the EU's meddling in defence matters - and this is no doubt another attempt by the Conservative Party to show their Eurosceptism. Let us not dwell too much on the idiocy of a newspaper producing two articles at total variance with each other - it is, I am sure we all agree, cruel to mock the afflicted; suffice it to say, a serious broadsheet the Daily Telegraph ain't.

That the Conservative Party have practised what is probably the greatest political deception on the British people is now laid bare for all to see. That they have been aided and abetted by the media, especially the Daily Telegraph, is beyond argument. That the likes of Cameron, MilibandE and Clegg wear civilian clothing rather than military uniforms does not detract from the fact they are no better than dictators - and in common with totalitarian dictators, they seem to get themselves 'elected' by robotic followers.

From time to time Richard North, EU Referendum, asks why we do not rise up and slaughter 'them' and I can only concur with his question - with the proviso that 'Them' does not just include the politicians; it includes every bureaucrat and every section of the media that allows this deception to continue.

That would mean a revolution of the French type. This would eventually lead to a reign of terror, i.e., the revolution eating its own.

I understand the frustration that is the root cause of such anger - I too feel the same on the occasion. But for a revolution to be successful and permanent in its effects, it has to be peaceful in the main.

Fortunately the national character is not latin, or we too would have had bloody revolutions by now.

Suppose you took part in a gambling session in which the house croupier asked you to pick any one of three "different" cards.

1. Ace - you win

2. King - you win

3. Queen - you the punter loose.

That is 2:1 in your favour.

Unbeknown to you was that all three cards were "Queens" but of different hue.

Would a casino be legally allowed to run such a game. If so, would the punters have legitimate cause to take forceful action on the casino?

As I've been saying elsewhere from your parish councillor all the way to the UN every politician gets away with what they do because we the people consent.
We consent to it because we have been brainwashed into believing we have no power over our lives.

Let's face it the prisons are so full Ken Clarke is 'letting people off' so other than a cash fine what is there to stop anyone withdrawing their consent to be un by the moronic Parliamentary/Crown Estate system?
How many would it take to withdraw their consent for the state to run the country before change had to happen?

In a population of circa 70 million I'll lay odds the number required is definitely under 2 million. In fact I reckon a few hundred thousand would be enough to push the snowball down the hill, so to speak.

All it takes is enough pissed off people connected by facebook/twatter/phone/letter/pigeon and change would become unstoppable no matter who has the guns.

There won't be a revolution in the foreseeable future because of national apathy and because 40% of the electorate will vote Labour next time and are therefore quite happy with our rule by Brussels and waste of taxpayers' money etc. No, the only way out of this mess is through a mass publicity campaign by UKIP, the CIB, BOO or some other anti-EU campaigning group. We must write to newspapers, put posters on lamp posts, put messages on Facebook; anything to spread the message.

DP111: The times they have changed - to paraphrase an old pop song, resulting in the undeniable fact that to get rid of this lot we probably will need a revolution. On the bright side for you there will be no 'eating' - just hanging....

Bill: As with withholding tax, so with organising a revolt........?

k: Nice idea but the media refuse to print/air the message? Local authorities then sue for flyposting.....?

Nope, there will be a revolution because eventually there will be sufficient pissed off people - wait and see........

Anything organised has a leader. Anything with a recognised leader can be attacked through and with the MSM.

I favour a guide for pissed of people that they can follow if they so choose. A How To Withdraw Consent sort of effort made available in the myriad of communication formats we have today.
Then hopefully small groups of like minded pissed off people would decide amongst themselves that they have had enough and the withdrawal of consent is the way forward.
