Her name is Hazel and she really is a nut

We are asked to look upon our political elite as all knowing, all wise - at least, that is how they consider themselves. It is often said in defence of the idiot, amongst a group of people, "Oh well, there's always one" - yet perhaps when considering our political elite we should reserve that phrase for when a sane one is found.

A delightful letter in today's Daily Telegraph from a Peter O'Brien, Widnes, Cheshire, states: "Did nobody at the BBC appreciate the irony of the Salford MP Hazel Blears' call for tough sentences to be passed on those who had misappropriated the assets of others?"

The "Poisoned Dwarf", as I named Blears approximately 12 months ago, compounded her inability to engage brain once again today when, in respect of looters and rioters, she said on Sky "People need to ask, why are they not at school?". Err Hazel, possibly due to three factors: it was the weekend, its was night time and it was school holidays........?

Exactly how much do we pay Hazel "No Brain" Blears...............?

Just asking.....................

Leave the poor girl alone... Given her background and where she works, she's probably forgotten that some people don't go to boarding school.

Would this be the same Hazel Blears who took part in a community protest in her constituency against some cut or other, that she herself as a minster was implementing? (but apparently saw no contradiction in saying one thing as a local MP and the exact opposite as a minister)
