Following my post yesterday on this subject, as has been pointed out to me by a commenter the Telegraph has picked up on this story.
It would therefore seem obligatory that I email my constituency MP - which I have done - to ascertain who instigated this clause, why and whether he, my MP, personally agrees with it. This course of action is one that I would strongly suggest all readers do with their own constituency MP.
